The Group X classes offered at Purdue...

Students in today's society may be caught up on body image and may struggle and feel there are not any work out options that are available to them. Well those are some very mis-informed students. Here at Purdue there is a wonderful co-rec which allows students the chance to get into shape and stay that way. Purdue feels very strongly about good health and fitness which is a major reason they offer so many opportunities to get into shape. There are a number of group x classes that are offered at Purdue's co-rec. These classes that are featured are 20/20/20 which is a high powered classes that gives you cardio, body sculpting, and core training. The zumba is great if you like to dance, it gives you a chance to dance while getting your body into great shape. The turbo kick is another high intensity class that gets you into shape while having a great time doing so, another class that is offered is get on the ball this is a way to tone and sculpt your body.

Those were some of the high intensity fun group x classes others include body sculpt, core crunch, lower body, abs, and back 30, total body conditioning, upper body, abs, back 30. These are most of the group x classes that are offered at Purdue. Its cool to me that there are so many options for different classes, it gives the option to work out in way that will be most fun for each individual. Good health and fitness is important here at Purdue and they let you try out the classes for free for the first week of each semester to see if you are going to like it and to see if its worth paying the money. The classes are 45$ a semester and that allows you to work with a skilled instructor to reach your fitness goals, each class can make a world of difference for your body. You can learn more about each of the Group X classes at http://www.purdue.edu/recsports/programs/groupex.html its the university's web site.

To sum it all up students here at Purdue should be aware of the fitness option that are available to them and I hope this blog does a good job of informing students at Purdue what work out options they have.
